Inside the JUMP BACK universe
JUMP BACK: The First Crossing
Book One of Peter Sheppard’s planned five-book science-fiction series. In 2035, civilisation is nearing collapse as five experimental Jump machines prepare to send selected survivors thousands of years into the past. Mick and the team race to complete the first crossing while systems fail and the travellers carry only themselves, their clothing and the knowledge they can remember.
The Jump Facility
The Jump facility was built on an enormous industrial scale, with multiple bays operating at once. Selected travellers were packed into each chamber as the containment field ignited around them, while operators monitored the system from the control floor.
